| At 0753 hours Task Force 16 (Station 16, Engine 1512, Squad 51, BLS 1557), Engine 1191, and Ladder 1194 was dispatched to 121 Pacific Avenue, The Pacific Avenue Apartments for an Apartment Fire.
Engine 1512 responded under the command of Captain Dan Devitt and while companies were responding Companies were advised of a fire in the bedroom of the apartment. Squad 16 arrived and found a fire in the first floor of a two story garden style apartment building.
Engine 1191 obtained a water supply for Squad 16. Squad 51 and Ladder 1194 opened up and secured the utilities. Engine 1512 went to the second floor to open up and ventilate. Squad 16 reported that all visible fire was knocked down. Command placed the fire under control.
Companies remained on scene hitting hot spots and picking up equipment. |
