At 1459 hours Rescue 15-1 and BLS 1557 were dispatched to Redman and Estaugh Avenues in Haddonfield for a motor vehicle accident rescue assignment. Haddonfield Lieutenant Tim Green was on location reporting a 2-car MVA with one car on its side with entrapment. Rescue 15-1 responded under the command of Assistant Chief Mike Vitelli.
Rescue 15-1 arrived on scene and started working on extricating the patient from the vehicle. Command requested an additional BLS unit to the scene. Rescue 15-1 removed the roof of the vehicle so EMS could tend to the patient. Once the patient was removed, crews from Rescue 15-1 and Squad 1411 assisted EMS with packaging patients. Once all the patients were enroute to the hospital, Companies started to pick up.
