| Shortly before 6:00pm, Station 14-1 (Haddonfield) and Rescue 1516 were dispatched to the intersection of West End and Euclid Avenues for a MVA Rescue. Upon arrival, Chief Joe Riggs (1401) reported a two-car MVA with one occupant trapped. Rescue 1516 responded under the command of Captain Frank Jackson, 5th.
1516 arrived along with Squad 1411 and went into operation. 1516's crew stabilized the vehicle as 1411's crew was preparing to go in operation with the tools. After the stabilization was complete 1516's crew assisted 1411's crew with the extrication of the patient. The patient was then tended to by EMS. Squad 1411 remained on location awaiting the tow company and 1516 was released. |
