Drafting Operations Drill

Recently a member donated us a smaller pool for training operations. The pool was a perfect training aid for Members to go over Drafting Operations. Usually when we do a drafting drill we go to Newton Creek or Cooper River since they are the two closest static water sources within the local.

This small pool enables us to obtain a draft and use it as a portable water source for pumping operations. This is also a cleaner way of doing a Pump Operations drill as when we do drafting operations the pumps and all discharges and intakes have to be flushed out to remove anything picked up.

By using this pool we are able to do a drafting drill without having to flush everything out.

We would like to thank Firefighter/EMT Kyler Graeber for the pool.
