| On Sunday June 21st around 0800 hours, Marine 16, Marine 151, Rescue 151 and Marine 18 were dispatched to Cooper River across from 361 South Park Dr for a report of a vehicle that drove into the water. Police arrived on location confirming the report, and entered the water. Fire and Police crews were able to gain access to the submerged vehicle and remove the patient. Crews transported the patient back to the shoreline where he was then taken to the hospital for evaluation. The assignment was then recalled with the exception of Station 16 and Marine 151. Crews remained on scene until the vehicle was removed from the water. |
