Collingswood 2nd Alarm Dwelling

On Wednesday, October 29th at approximately 13:15 hours, Task Force 16 was dispatched to 13 Crestmont Terrace in Collingswood for a reported dwelling fire. Collingswood Fire Captain Bob Fox arrived to find heavy smoke and fire from the rear of the dwelling and transmitted the "All-Hands".

Squad 16 arrived and went in service with an 1 3/4 inch handline. Ladder 15-1 responded under the command of Captain Frank Jackson 5th and was given orders to go to the roof and open up.

The fire quickly spread through the second floor and third floor of the house, which prompted command to transmit the 2nd alarm.

The fire was brought under control at 13:52 hours. Crews continued with extensive overhaul and remained on location for several hours. No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
