On Tuesday, April 3, 2012, members of the Westmont Fire Company delivered 50 hams to the local food pantry at the Grace Baptist Church. Members of the fire company and the ladies auxiliary donated the hams to assist the pantry in feeding the less fortunate families this Easter holiday.

The mission of the Food Pantry at Grace Baptist Church is to distribute food and personal care items to individuals and families and to do so in a kind and compassionate way without judgment or bias. Items are distributed with minimal rules and paperwork. The focus of the Pantry is on the needs of the residents of Haddon Township and surrounding communities. No one will be sent away hungry. The food pantry carries out its mission by asking local individuals, schools, professionals and nonprofit organizations for donations of food, infant supplies, personal care items, and money for supplemental purposes.

If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, the Pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm. For additional information, including donations, please contact the church at 856-854-5573.
