| On January 1 2006 at 1102 hours, Ladder Tower 1514 was dispatched to relocate to the quarters of Snorkel 1124 (Pennsauken Station 2) due to a working fire at 2258 & 2260 So. 36th Street. Ladder 1514 responded under the command of Lieutenant John Young. Prior to the arrival at Station 11-2, command of the fire requested a second alarm which brought Engine 1111 who had already relocated along with 1514. Companies arrived shortly after and joined the manpower pool to the rear of Snorkel 1124. A third alarm was then transmitted and that brought Camden City Engine 9, Tower Ladder 3 and Battalion 2. Companies remained in the manpower pool for 10 minutes before getting put to work with overhauling the third floor of the fire building along with the roofline. Companies overhauled for 20 minutes finding pockets of fire in the attic and eaves and was quickly extinguished. Companies were then released and returned to Station. |
