At 1603 hours Engine 1512 and Squad 91 (Barrington) were dispatched to relocate to Station 45 (Mt. Ephraim) for a cover assignment. Engine 1512 responded under the command of Captain John Young with a staffing of five.
Engine 1512 arrived at Station 45 with Squad 91. Companies in Mount Ephraim were operating on a 2nd alarm dwelling fire at 208 Hartke Road. Command then transmitted the 3rd alarm bringing Engine 1512 and Squad 91 into the job along with Ladder 18-3 (Oaklyn) and Ladder 14-1 (Haddonfield).

Engine 1512 and Squad 91 arrived on the fireground and went to the manpower pool. Engine 1512 was then given the order to assume the FAST Company until the arrival at Ladder 18-3. Ladder 18-3 arrived on scene and Engine 1512 reported to the "D" side of the dwelling and met with Captain Vilardo and were told to open up the "D" side.

1512 used pike poles and chainsaws and opened up the exterior walls to gain access to pockets of fire inside the dwelling. Engine 1512 then operated with a 1 ¾" handline along with Squad 91 who was on the "B" side of the dwelling so companies could make a knock of the fire.

Once that was completed companies reported to rehab to cool off and get hydrated and then assisted Mt Ephraim with packing hose back on Squad 45.

Companies were then released.
