On Saturday, March 31, the Westmont Fire Company and Westmont Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary celebrated their 52nd Annual Joint Installation Dinner at the Bellmawr Ballroom.

To kick off the event Matthew Gallagher was installed as the 20th President of the Westmont Fire Company.

A unit citation was awarded to Captain John Young, Lieutenant Matt Medes, Firefighter Brad Medes and Firefighter Jeff Riley for their courageous efforts at a Collingswood dwelling fire on Friday, November 3, 2017.

The Ladies Auxiliary, who supports the fire company with various fundraisers through the year, honored five members for their service. They were Kim Burke (5 years), Carrie Ellinwood (5 years), Nicole Sylvester (5 years), Nicole Tessing (5 years) and Sandy Voigtsberger (35 years.)

To wrap up the ceremony the Westmont Fire Company also honored eight of their own. They were Matt Medes (10 years), Don Richards (10 years), Jeff Riley (10 years), Greg Filosa (15 years), Matt Gallagher (15 years), Bob Young (20 years), Rusty Morgan (45 years) and Rick Etter (50 years).

All in all, it was another wonderful Installation Dinner. Congratulations to all of those who were honored.
