Station 15-1 was dispatched to 626 Avondale Avenue for a reported dwelling fire.

Battalion 15 and 15101 responded and were advised that Squad 14 and Ladder 1324 were returning from an assignment in Haddonfield and were responding to the dispatch address since they were in close proximity.

1401, Squad 14 and Ladder 1324 arrived and found smoke emanating from the chimney and were investigating. Squad 14 proceeded to the interior and Ladder 1324 placed the aerial in service to check the top of the chimney.

Battalion 15 and 15101 arrived on location and met with 1401. Squirt 15-1 arrived and assisted Squad 14. Ladder 15-1 arrived and stood by along with Engine 1512.

Squirt 15-1 operated with the booster line along with Ladder 1324 to wet the roof area of the residence down in the area of the chimney.

Companies found no extension inside the residence.
