At 1307 Hours, Engine 1512, BLS 1557 and Virtua ALS were dispatched to 570 West Cuthbert Road for a reported MVA. While en route, Companies were advised of a vehicle into a pole on Cuthbert Road. 15101, 15102 and BLS 1557 arrived on location to find one vehicle into a pole with the pole completely snapped at the base.

The occupant of the vehicle was out of the vehicle. PSEG Electric was requested to respond to the scene. Engine 1512 arrived and blocked traffic at Cuthbert and Lakeshore Drive.

BLS checked the occupant of the vehicle. HTPD assisted with lane closures to safety precautions for personnel on scene. PSEG arrived on scene and began their assessment. Rescue 15-1 arrived on scene and blocked traffic at Cuthbert and MacArthur. The area was shut down until additional PSEG equipment arrived on scene. The pole was secured to the vehicle could be removed.

Once the vehicle was removed, the scene was turned over to PSEG and HTPD.
