At 1724 Hours Task Force 16 (Squad 16, Ladder 15-1, Engine 1132, and Squad 5-1) were dispatched to 418 Woodlawn Avenue for a reported garage on fire.

Within one minute, Squad 16 and Ladder 15-1 were both responding and Squad 16 reported a visible column of smoke from blocks away.

Squad 16 and 1601 arrived on location and found a detached garage to the rear with smoke and fire showing and stretched one 1 ¾” hand line for suppression and obtained a water supply.

Ladder 15-1 arrived and began to open up for Squad 16.

The fire was quickly extinguished as Companies began overhaul. With no further extension found, Companies were made available.
