| At 1113 hours Rescue 15-1 and Ladder 1344 (Cherry Hill) were dispatched to 522 Woodland Avenue in Haddonfield for a Technical Rescue Assignment.
Haddonfield Fire Company units were on location with a crane collapse onto a dwelling with a worker trapped on the roof and one trapped inside of the crane due to live power lines being down.
While Rescue 15-1 and Ladder 1344 were responding to the scene Haddonfield Fire Chief Riggs requested Ladder 15-1 to the scene for use of the Ladder Tower. Rescue 15-1 arrived on scene and began assisting Haddonfield Units. Ladder 15-1 arrived on scene and set up in front of the dwelling.
Ladder 15-1 used the Aerial to begin assessment and removal of the victim along with Ladder 1344. The victim was removed from the roof via a longboard and brought down to the ground.
The patient's care was then transferred to Haddonfield EMS and Virtua Medics. Companies remained on scene until PSEG arrived to secure the power and the crane occupant was removed.
Once the crane was up righted, Companies were released. |
