Lawnside Avenue All Hands APRIL 28 - Shortly before 2100 hours, Station 15-1 and BLS 1647 were dispatched to 226 Lawnside Avenue for a reported dwelling fire. Emerald Avenue Vehicle Fire APRIL 01 - Shortly after 4:30pm Engine 151 and BLS 1557 were dispatched to Emerald Avenue and Penn Avenue for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Vitelli found a vehicle with the engine compartment well involved. New Officers Installed MARCH 26 - On Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Westmont Fire Company's monthly meeting, Chief John Medes announced his new officer candidates for promotion, all of which the company unanimously approved. Rescue 1516 responded under the command of Captain John Young and upon arrival assumed FAST next to the command post. Companies were operating on a fire in a two story middle of the row dwelling.
