Haddon Avenue Car Fire
DECEMBER 28
- At 2000 hours Engine 15-1 and BLS 1557 were dispatched to the Valero Gas Station at 339 Haddon Avenue for a reported vehicle fire. Chief Medes signed on and was advised that Police were on location reporting a vehicle well involved next to the pumps. Chief Medes arrived on location and confirmed the Police report. Cooper Street "All-Hands"
DECEMBER 27
- At 0221 hours Station 15-1 and BLS 1557 were dispatched to 26 Cooper Street for a reported Dwelling Fire. Two minutes after dispatch Police were on location reporting heavy fire on the second floor of the dwelling, prompting Communications to re-tone the Station and add Squad 16 (Collingswood) due to the Police report and multiple calls. Basement Fire on East Holly Avenue
DECEMBER 17
- At 1915 hours Task Force 15-3 (Station 15-1, Squad 16, BLS 1557) was dispatched to 106 East Holly Avenue for a reported dwelling fire. Chief Medes (15101) signed on immediately after dispatch and was advised that the caller reported the house filling with smoke and everyone was getting out. Two Car MVA
DECEMBER 03
- On Saturday December 3rd at 1:58 pm, BLS 1557 was dispatched to a two car MVA at the intersection of Cuthbert Rd. and Emerald Ave. The first due ambulance was advised en route that there were multiple injuries. The crew requested that BLS 1558 be toned out as well as Engine 1512. BLS 1557 arrived on scene at 2:00 pm and found that the accident was a head on collision with multiple persons injured. ...
